Hedge planting

On Saturday 7th December we will be planting the rest of the Orchard boundary hedge and would be delighted if you could come along and help us with this work. Work will commence at 10AM.

Junior school wildflower planting Junior School plant wild flowers

Over the winter months children from the Junior School had been growing wild flowers from seeds planted in trays. This was the morning that their work came to fruition as those seedlings were planted out in the orchard.

Teamshot Busway Hedging – Thanks to GE Energy Volunteers & Woodland Trust

Great work by volunteers from GE Energy, who planted a native hedge along the orchard boundary nearest the guided busway. The hedge plants were provided by the Woodland Trust and include hawthorn, blackthorn, hazel, silver birch, rowan, common oak and elm. Speeches Planting Ceremony
