Busway Hedging – Thanks to GE Energy Volunteers & Woodland Trust

Great work by volunteers from GE Energy, who planted a native hedge along the orchard boundary nearest the guided busway. The hedge plants were provided by the Woodland Trust and include hawthorn, blackthorn, hazel, silver birch, rowan, common oak and elm. This will create a really rich, deep native hedge that will attract wildlife and form a secure natural boundary between the orchard and the guided busway.
