This year’s juicing event was held at IVC as part of the 75th anniversary community open day. Students and children helped gather the apple crop from the Lord Lambourne trees. With the help of many hands the apples were cut, shredded and pressed to make a delicious juice. Thank you to everyone who helped, Cheers.

The first Saturday in May and it was time for the orchard to have a first major maintenance day of the year. We had a tremendous turnout from the volunteers and our thanks go to everyone who turned up.
Let’s start with a big “Thank You” for everyone who turned up today to put the benches into the Orchard.
On Saturday, 8 March we were finally able to plant our next twelve trees, having previously been delayed a month by heavy rain and water-logged ground. Prior to the planting day, we had marked out the tree positions and put down two loads of woodchip to create a dry path to the Orchard swing gate.
