Tree protection
We are all delighted by how well the first volunteer work weekend went – so successfully, in fact, that we finished work on the Saturday.
Turf was lifted, holes were dug, post holes were drilled, posts were knocked in, and some stock fencing protection was wrapped around the posts – all in preparation for the planting of the first trees next weekend – Saturday 23rd February. (If you want to come along and be part of the first tree planting on the site, then turn up around 10:00-10:30 AM next Saturday.)
So, from all of HICOP, a big thanks to everyone who came along and made the work fly by.
