Infant School’s wild flower planting
Children from the Infant School had been growing wild flowers from seeds in trays over the winter. 30 children with their teacher Marisa Ray and helpers brought the plants they had grown and planted them in a plot on the east side of the Community Orchard.
As well as planting, they sketched the trees they had planted last term and learnt a bit more about the other trees planted in February. Everyone had a good time and are all keen to watch how the wild flowers grow in their new plot.
